CODE OF ETHICS AND CONDUCT
INTRODUCTION
The IBV Code of Ethics and Conduct is addressed to all members of the board, administration, employees, volunteers, interns and young apprentices of this institution to serve as a reference in personal and professional performance. Everyone must know it and make it known, observing and defending its fulfillment. This Code helps to establish a standard of respectful and transparent relationship, with the objective of guiding us to always act in accordance with our Values and Ethical Principles. In this sense, the Code specifies:
1. The IBV's commitments to society in general
2. The standards of conduct expected from those directly and indirectly involved in the exercise of their personal and professional responsibilities. Therefore, it is essential that everyone involved in the Institute projects read carefully, so that you can use it daily as a guide for your actions and decisions. We are certain that it is an extremely useful and necessary instrument, capable of inspiring us in the conduct of the IBV and in the art of transforming our personal and professional conduct into an example for everyone.

We respect human rights and do not admit any form of exploitation, discrimination or disrespect in our internal and external activities.

We clearly and correctly provide the information our stakeholders need to make decisions regarding the IBV.

Practice dialogue, not imposing a point of view; listen carefully and respect other people's opinions even if you disagree with them.

Never mislead anyone or cause him harm.
Do not use the IBV's name, position or influence to obtain personal benefits or for relatives, friends or third parties.

Do not reproduce rumors and backbiting.

Participate punctually and with dedication in the education and training actions offered by the IBV.
Take care of office facilities, resources, equipment and materials and only use them for personal purposes in the event of an emergency, with superior authorization and that does not endanger the integrity of IBV's assets.
Adopt the precepts of conscientious consumption: do not waste water, energy, paper, plastic objects, office supplies, etc. practice selective collection always thinking about the environment.
Avoid financial imbalances, as they cause personal and professional losses.
Take care of your personal appearance, dressing appropriately for the role performed.
Do not disclose IBV information or comment on situations of your internal daily work on social networks without proper authorization.

Carry out your work with care, focused on the interests of the IBV and in compliance with the institution and this Code of Ethics and Conduct.
Keep up-to-date on advances in your professional area and, when applicable, obtain the necessary certifications to exercise your position.
Do not allow IBV's businesses, projects and operations to be used for illegal or criminal acts (corruption, bribery, money laundering, fraud, etc.). Therefore, among other precautions, know and comply with the IBV's guidelines and practices on the subject.
Never advise, disseminate information or trade on rumors or unreliable data.
Know and comply with IBV policies and other standards.
In the relationship with customers, suppliers and other publics, look for the competent channels to respond to requests or resolve conflicts that are outside its attributions.
Ask your immediate manager and the communications department for guidance before participating in interviews and programs in conventional or virtual media. Do not speak on behalf of the IBV without prior authorization.
Do not use social networks or software not provided by the IBV to carry out your personal activities.
